Hyderabad, January 10, 2012: Tata Projects Limited
(TPL) received the Construction Company of the Year Award from the EPC World, a
renowned magazine for Infrastructure, Construction and Realty sector, at a
recently held ceremony in Bangalore.
Mr. AK Sharma, Executive Vice President and Head, SBU Power
Generation, received the award on behalf of TPL from Mr. KJ Alphons, former
Commissioner, Delhi Development Authority, Prof. MN Sreehari, advisor to the
Government of Karnataka for Infrastructure, and Mr. Tejasvi Sharma, MD and
Editor-in-Chief, EPC World Media Group.
The Award was presented to TPL in recognition of its qualitative,
quantitative performance, innovation and strategic initiatives during 2011.
The award presentation ceremony was attended by several
distinguished leaders from the infrastructure sector.

Hyderabad, November 4, 2011: Mr. Vinayak Deshpande, Managing Director, Tata Projects Limited (TPL), received an award on behalf of TPL for being ranked the Fastest Growing Construction Company in India in 2010-11, from the former Minister of State for External Affairs, Mr. Sashi Tharoor, at a glittering and well attended ceremony held recently in Mumbai.
The event, a much awaited annual extravaganza in the infrastructure world, was organized by Construction World, the largest circulated construction business magazine with editions in India and Gulf.
The Company was also received an Award for being rated amongst the Top 10 Most Admired Construction Companies for the fifth year in succession – 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, based on a survey conducted amongst industry professionals who rated Companies on transparency, sharing prosperity with employees, corporate governance, delight of customers, good corporate citizenship and EVA amongst others. |

Hyderabad, October 17, 2011: Tata Projects Limited (TPL), one of the leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction Companies in India, received the ‘D&B-Axis Bank Infra Award 2011’ from Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) and Axis Bank on October 17, 2011, at Mumbai.
The award waThe award was presented to TPL for its exemplary performance during the execution of a Captive Thermal Power Plant, Udaipur, which was selected as the best project under the category of `Power Plants’.
Mr. AK Sharma, Head of SBU Power Generation, received the award on behalf of TPL from Mr. SS Kohli, former Chairman & Managing Director, India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd. and Mr. Kaushal Sampat, President & CEO, India D&B, at a glittering ceremony attended by leading infrastructure companies. Hyderabad, October 19, 2010: At a dazzling ceremony of infrastructure leaders, top technocrats and industrial chiefs held in Mumbai on October 19th, 2010, Mr. A.K.Misra, Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer, Tata Projects Limited (TPL) , received an award on behalf of TPL for being ranked the third Fastest Growing Construction Company in India in 2009-10 , from His Excellency, Governor of Maharashtra, Mr. Sankaranarayanan.
TPL was also rated amongst the Top 10 Most Admired Construction Companies amongst which it has been consecutively listed for the last four years in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Hyderabad, April 5, 2010: Tata Projects Limited (TPL) has been awarded the prestigious Excellence in Product Innovation' Award for the year 2008-09 by the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI). The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. K. Rosaiah, presented the Silver Rolling Trophy and a citation to Mr. A. K. Misra, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, Tata Projects Limited, at the FAPCCI's 92nd annual awards function on April 5, 2010 in Hyderabad.
TPL bagged this award in the category of `Excellence in Product Innovation for the `Energy Recovery Unit used in its mobile truck mounted Sea Water / Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO/BWRO) water purification plants and designed for use also in its skid mounted SWRO/BWRO plants. These RO plants have been designed in-house and their operational efficiency has been continuously enhanced through intense R&D efforts. TPL manufactures RO water purification plants with capacities ranging from 200 to 5000 liters per hour at its factory, Water Purification Plant Development Centre, located at Medchal on the outskirts of Hyderabad and has supplied around 400 plants so far to several villages in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab.

Mr. Kamal Nath, Honourable Union Minister for
Road, Transport and Highways, presented an award
to Tata Projects Limited (TPL) for being ranked
in the Top 10 Most Admired Construction Companies.
Mr. AK Misra, Executive Director and Chief Operating
Offer, TPL, received the award at a glittering
ceremony in Mumbai on October 8, 2009.
TPL ranked in the Top 10 Most Admired Construction
Companies list three times in a row – in
2007, 2008 and 2009. TPL has also been rated fifth
in the Fastest Growing Construction Companies
category based on 2008-09 survey results.
Construction World, a leading magazine in EPC
sector, conducts a survey every year of construction
and engineering companies amongst industry professionals
who rated TPL as one of the Top Ten Most Admired
Construction Companies.

year 2008 |

Every year on 29 July, J Awards function is celebrated
in remembrance of Mr. JRD Tata and his passion for
excellence. This year, 29 July was a special day
for all of us at TPL in our TBEM journey. We qualified
for the “Serious adoption award of TBEM for
the year 2008” having crossed the 351 –
450 points band in the assessment done in 2008.
The award was given away by our Group Chairman Mr.
Ratan Tata to Mr. A.K.Misra, ED & COO and Mr.
A.K.Mathur, ED along with a few TBEM assessors who
attended the function at Mumbai. Mr. Ratan Tata
recalled memories of the legendary JRD and the events
which led to instituting an award for business excellence
amongst the Tata Companies, in his memory. Earlier,
Dr. J.J. Irani, Chairman of the TBEM committee,
informed the gathering that Safety, Innovation,
Corporate Governance & Climate Ch a n g e wo
u ld be addi t i o n a l parameters in the TBEM
model from this year. Apart from the JRDQV awards
for BE, awards were presented to winners of Innovista
( for innovation in Tata Companies) and the children’s
talent competitions. |
