Joint Venture between Engineers India Limited and Tata Projects Limited (July 2007)

Tata Projects Limited (TPL) and Engineers India Ltd (EIL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 09, 2007 to incorporate a Joint Venture Company which would undertake Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects in India and abroad mainly in oil & gas, fertilizer, steel, power and infrastructure sectors.

The Joint Venture Company will start with a paid-up capital of Rs. 10 crores contributed by TPL and EIL equally.

Government of India (Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas) has approved the formation of the Joint Venture Company on January 31, 2008.

Registration of the Joint Venture Company is in progress. (March 2008)
