  • Project: 400 KV Extension Bays from Power Grid for Ramagundam Stage - III Project, Package "B" : Supply and Erection of Substation Package "B" [Extension of 400 KV Kurnool, Gooty and Nelamangala Substations for Transmission System associated with Ramagundam Stage - III Project and Reinforcement of Central Grid in Southern Region

  • Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) has awarded TPL the turnkey execution of the 400kV Double Circuit Dhauliganga (NHPC) - Bareily (UPPCL) Transmission Line of 238 kms. under the Dhauliganga Transmission System. The project value is to the tune of Rs.660 million.

  • Installation of 15MVA Transformers, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 11kV Package Substation and laying of 11kV XLPE Cables for 5 nos. Substations in Al Ain area for the Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA).
  • Tata Projects has bagged the Regional Top Exporters award in recognition of excellent performance in the area of Project Exports (Engineering) during the period 1999-2000 from Engineering Exports Promotion Council (EEPC). This is the second award received from EEPC since the calendar year, the first being the trophy for Highest Exporters in the category of Turnkey Industrial Project Exporters (Non SSI) at the national level.

  • At Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam's project site, Tata Projects has to its credit a distinguished achievement viz. erection of 42 towers in 14 days and 12kms of stringing in 15 days, thus completing the 132 kV Transmission Line from Jeewannagar to Kariwala ahead of schedule. This project is dedicated to the nation by the Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr Om Prakash Chautala, on 12th March 2002, which is the first death anniversary of his father, Mr. Devilal, the former Deputy Prime Minister of India.
  • The project for Supply of Equipment, Erection & Commissioning for Revamping of the Filtration Plant at Ambernath Receiving Station has been awarded to TPL by Tata Power Co. Ltd.
  • Tata Projects has been awarded by PGCIL the turnkey execution of 220kV Transmission Lines associated with Transmission System Strengthening of Electricity Department for the Government of Goa.


  • TPL has been awarded two civil projects by NPCIL which include Construction of Roads, Storm Water Drains & Road Bridge and Development of Parks, Area Grading/ Levelling etc. as well as the Construction of 540 Nos. of Residential quarters at the Kudankulam Township near Nagarcoil, Tamil Nadu.

  • Handling at Site Stores / Storage Yard, Transportation to Site of Work, Erection, Testing & Commissing of Structures, Pressure Parts, Non – Pressure Parts, Air Preheaters, Ducts & Supply and Application of Final Painting of Boiler for Unit VI of 4x500MW Sets at Talcher Super Thermal Power Project Stage II - NTPC, Angul Dist, Orissa State for BHEL, Chennai.

  • Turnkey contract for construction of 220kV Line from Parli Power Station to Harangul Substation (60 kms) for MSEB.
  • Turnkey contract for construction of 132kV D/C Line on D/C Towers to LILO on 132kV Latur-Udgir line to Harangul Substation (10 kms) and b) Construction of 2 nos. separate 132kV D/C lines on D/C towers to LILO on both circuits of Latur-Ujani lines to Harangul Substation (15 kms i.e. 7.5 kms. Each) for MSEB.
  • Revamp and Expansion of Group Gathering Station VI, Gandhar for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., Ankleshwar Project, Ankleshwar.
  • Turnkey Contract for Cell Sites and Concentrator Sites with related works for Wireless / Wireline Network in the State of Karnataka for Tata Teleservices Ltd., Hyderabad.
  • Cost plus Contract for Main Switching Centre and Power Installation Works for Wireless Network in the State of Karnataka for Tata Teleservices Ltd., Hyderabad.
  • Turnkey Contract for Cell Sites and Concentrator Sites with related works for Wireless / Wireline Network in the State of Gujarat for Tata Teleservices Ltd., Hyderabad.
  • Cost plus Contract for Main Switching Centre and Power Installation Works for Wireless Network in the State of Gujarat for Tata Teleservices Ltd., Hyderabad.

  • The Boiler Drum Erection of Unit-IV of 2 X 500 MW at Talcher Project Site was successfully erected on 30.07.2001 in a record time of 4 months and 28 days, a feat achieved for the first time in the history of 500 MW Boilers in India.

  • Tata Projects has been awarded by Alstom, Gujarat, the Installation of Mechanical and Electrical Works of ESP for Unit III to Unit VI Stage II (4x500MW) Talcher Super Thermal Power Station.

  • Tata Projects has been awarded by BHEL, Chennai Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Power Cycle Piping and SG Auxiliaries Piping for Unit 2 of 2x500MW Sets at NTPC Simhadri TPP at Vizag.

  • Tata Projects successfully completed the 192km, 400kV Double Circuit Bihar Sharif – Sasaram Transmission Line which has made possible surplus power export to the Northern Region from the Eastern Region in Bihar. The quality of work has been highly appreciated by PGCIL. The completion of the Installation and Commissioning of the 400kV, 2 nos. 50 MVAR reactors and associated equipments at Sarnath 400kV Substation of UPPCL for termination of 400kV Double Circuit Bihar-Sharif-Sasaram-Allahabad Transmission Line was marked with the inauguration of the facility by Mr Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Power and Mr Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Power on July 12, 2001.

  • Among the recent projects TPL has been awarded Installation and Commissioning of HP Piping for Unit 2 of 2x500MW Simhadri Thermal Power Project near Visakhapatnam by BHEL, Chennai.

  • An additional 8 new SDH Backbone Network Sites for Birla AT&T in the State of Gujarat have been awarded.

  • Tata Projects has been awarded Expansion of Dedicated DG Power Plant (DPP), Stage 2 by International Tech Park, Bangalore.

  • The latest among repeat orders of HVPNL is the turnkey construction of 132kV Transmission Lines in Haryana.

  • The Company is associated with Nuclear Power Corporation for their Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Plant at their Kundankulam Site in Nagarcoil.

  • The Company has been awarded by Kerala State Electricity Board the Construction of D/C LILO Lines (31.5 kms in total) from the Kayamkulam-Edamon Feeder to Substations at Kundra and Edappon.

  • Besides, KSEB has awarded Tata Projects the turnkey execution of 132kV and 33kV Substations and Transmission lines of various capacities with KVAR Capacitors in the Distribution Project in the Palakkad district of Kerala. (Rs.240.74 mil)

  • TPL installed the 110TPH Boiler for 25MW Thermal Power Plant at Wadi on schedule.

  • TPL has successfully completed and commissioned 200km, 400kV Transmission Line from Sasaram to Bihar-Sharif for Power Grid.

  • TPL installed 400kV Reactor at Sarnath in record time.

  • Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited: The Company has recently been awarded the turnkey execution of Construction of 2 nos. Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Plants (SWRO) of 25m3/hr capacity for the Nuclear Power Plant at Kudankulam Site, Nagarcoil, Tamil Nadu. At the inauguration of the SWRO plant site works, the pooja was performed in the presence of Dr Anil Kakodkar, Chairman of DAE and other Senior Executives of NPC.

  • Tata Power Company  Limited WADI, - DRUM LIFTING: Tata Projects' break through in securing the prestigious EPC contract for the Tata Power Co.'s Wadi Captive Power Plant in August 2000 is supplemented by another important milestone by achieving the drum lifting of Steam Generator IV on schedule during April 2001.

  • International Technology Park Limited: The latest among the projects awarded is the 3.3MW DG Captive Power Plant Expansion Project, Stage II at International Tech Park, Whitefield, Bangalore.

  • Kerala State Electricity Board: The Company has been awarded the turnkey execution of 110/33kv/11kv Substation (1 no.), 33/11kV Substations (3 nos.) and 33kV Transmission Lines 30 kms. and 11kv Transmission Lines 25 kms, 11kV (5 nos.), 600 KVAR capacitors Distribution Project at Palakkad district of Kerala for KSEB.

  • Kerala State Electricity Board: The Company has bagged the contract for construction of 220kV D/C LILO Lines, 31.5 kms. (twin moose, 23 kms and single moose,8.5 kms.) to 220kV Substations at Kundra and Edappon from the 220kV Kayamkulam-Edamon double circuit feeder on turnkey basis for KSEB.
