Hyderabad, May 3, 2012: TPL-QS, the
Quality Services of Tata Projects Limited, was empanelled by the Ministry
of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India, as an Independent Engineer
on May 3, 2012. Tata Projects Limited can submit proposals for Provision of
Urban Amenities in Rural Areas (PUARA) initiatives.
The broad scope of work for these projects includes review of drawings
and documents; review, inspection and monitoring of construction works; review,
inspection and monitoring of operations and maintenance of project facilities; and
assistance in dispute resolution.
TPL-QS will serve the MoRD as an Independent Engineer for four years.

Hyderabad, January 10, 2012: Tata Projects
Limited (TPL) received the Construction Company of the Year Award from the EPC
World, a renowned magazine for Infrastructure, Construction and Realty sector,
at a recently held ceremony in Bangalore.
Mr. AK Sharma, Executive Vice President and Head, SBU Power
Generation, received the award on behalf of TPL from Mr. KJ Alphons, former
Commissioner, Delhi Development Authority, Prof. MN Sreehari, advisor to the
Government of Karnataka for Infrastructure, and Mr. Tejasvi Sharma, MD and
Editor-in-Chief, EPC World Media Group.
The Award was presented to TPL in recognition of its qualitative,
quantitative performance, innovation and strategic initiatives during 2011. The
award presentation ceremony was attended by several distinguished leaders from
the infrastructure sector.
