To cater to the ever growing demand for supply of
transmission and telecom towers, Tata Projects has set
up its own state of the art Tower Manufacturing unit at
MIDC, Umred, which is about 48 kms from Nagpur. The
unit has a capacity of 24000 MT per annum and it
started commercial production from March 2008. |

- Unit is located in a spacious area of 40 acres.
- It has duel fuel galvanizing furnace having kettle
size of 8mX1mX2.5m.
- Entire unit is housed in a pre engineered building
that is fully insulated and specifically designed for
carrying out activities like fabrication and
galvanizing.
- It has powered itself for challenges with key
equipments like computer numeric control (CNC),
Angle Straightening Machine, Universal cutting
and punching machines.
- Apart from this, unit also has Impact testing
machine upto 300 Joules.
- 11 KV express feeder exclusively for the Unit and
DG backup for uninterrupted power supply.
