Tata Projects is a leader in building transmission infrastructure. We have over three decades of experience in executing complex projects, especially in tough, hilly and snowy terrains. We have successfully commissioned more than 12,000 kms of transmission lines across multiple voltage levels including 800kv HVDC projects.
Our design and engineering capabilities, cutting-edge software tools and specialized methods to optimally design towers and substation structures allows us to reduce conductor wastage ensuring faster construction and on-time delivery.
Tata Projects also has a state-of-the-art tower for manufacturing near Nagpur to manufacture transmission line towers, substations structures and telecom towers. This enables us to offer complete solutions from concept to commissioning of projects. The business unit has recently started construction using Helicranes in transmission line execution. This is not only the first time for India, but also for South East Asia where Helicranes are being used for construction of transmission lines.
