We focus on enhancing gender diversity and inclusion through better infrastructure at sites, hiring of more women candidates with specific focus on senior levels, developing and retention of talent, gender sensitivity training and enabling a more inclusive workplace. The Company employed 6% permanent women employees as of FY 2021-22 and has made significant changes to its performance assessment process to support returning mothers. We have also introduced mentorship programs for women employees, in association with Tata Sons, for holistic talent development.
