TP Luminaire Private Limited is a subsidiary of Tata Projects Limited that is involved in building installation. These are specialised activities that are usually performed at the site of construction, although parts of the job may also be carried out in special workshops or facilities. Repairs of installations are also included as part of its scope of activities.
IQSLLC is a joint venture company with Al Siraj Holdings LLC, incorporated in the Sultanate of Oman, to provide inspection, Project Monitoring Services and Asset Integrity Management Certification services into the country. Having secured approval from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), it is now poised to emerge as leading service provider in Oman.
TQSEG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Projects, incorporated in Germany to provide services to the European markets.
IPESCL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Projects, to address certification, inspection and accreditation market opportunities in China.
TPLPL was incorporated on December 10, 2018 as a 100% subsidiary of the Company for the purpose of carrying out smart city projects.
This company was floated as a Joint Venture company in South Africa in 2014 to take up jobs of ESKOM in T&D sector.
AEL is a leading design and EPC company in Petroleum Storage and Handling Systems with excellent hydrocarbon processing expertise. Over the years, AEL has done pioneering work in developing products and systems for fuel handling and tank construction activities in refineries. Tata Projects is a strategic investor in this company holding a stake of 75%. The shares of AEL are traded on BSE.
Ujjwal Pune Limited is a subsidiary of Tata Projects Ltd that is involved in the execution of Pune Smart LED Street lighting project. Its main objective is the successful execution of the Smart LED Street Lighting project across the city of Pune as per the mandate received & terms agreed by the company.
This company was incorporated in Sao Paulo, Brazil on December 3, 2018 as a 100% subsidiary of Tata Projects. It was incorporated for the purpose of executing transmission and distribution projects in Brazil on EPC Model as a contractor for the developers.

Prior to joining Tata Projects, Mr. Pai was the Group President at Worley, based out of Hague, Netherlands. Mr. Pai was responsible for Worley businesses in the EMEA and APAC regions. He was President of the Energy, Chemicals and Resources business at Jacobs before its acquisition by Worley.
He has been part of the Oil and Gas industry for over three decades and has extensive experience in executing upstream and downstream projects and successfully growing the business in a highly competitive environment. He has held key positions in Engineering Design, Technology Licensing, Project Management, Business Development and Operations.
Mr. Pai holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the College of Engineering, Pune and Post-Graduation in Management from Symbiosis, Pune and IIT Mumbai.
Mr. Sanjay Sharma joined Tata Projects Limited as Chief Financial Officer in December 2021. He has been playing a pivotal role in leading the company’s financial function and meeting all its objectives – both internal and external.
Prior to joining Tata Projects, Mr. Sharma was CFO of Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited, responsible for Finance (Accounts, Financial Control, Treasury and Tax), Procurement, IT and Internal Audit functions and oversight over the infrastructure vertical.
Mr. Sharma has more than three decades of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and Real Estate sector. His prior stints included being Managing Director, Head of Equity Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank Group and in various capacities at DSP Merrill Lynch Limited in Mumbai and Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.
He has been associated with various industry bodies in the past including being a member of the Primary Market Advisory Committee of SEBI, member of Capital Markets Committee of FICCI and CII and Chairman, Vice Chairman and Director of Association of Investment Bankers of India (AIBI).
Mr. Sharma is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and a Mechanical Engineer from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (Surathkal).
Rahul Shah is President, Urban Infrastructure, Tata Projects Ltd and remains responsible for the performance of the Urban Infrastructure Business Group – a division which comprises of projects such as elevated and underground metros, tunneling, bridges, expressways, ports, hydro, residential and commercial buildings, and smart cities.
In his previous assignments, Rahul has handled business development, marketing, and also served as CEO on the Board of a large renewable energy company in the Tata group. He also represents Tata Projects’ interests as nominee Director on Boards of subsidiary and JV companies, as well as a listed company in the Tata group.
Rahul Shah joined Tata Group through the Tata Administrative Service in 1990 after completion of MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. He has held several challenging assignments in different Tata companies spanning the media, telecommunications, power, and construction sectors, during his 29 years with Tata group.
Mr. Rajiv Menon is President – Energy and Industrial, Tata Projects Ltd. He remains responsible for Businesses such as Power& Metals, Oil Gas Hydrocarbon, Transmission &Distribution and International Business.
Earlier, Mr Menon was with Black & Veatch (India) where he was the Managing Director for nearly a decade. Prior to this, he also served a long stint with Tecnimont.
He has nearly three decades of rich experience in Infrastructure and Industrial Business, Oil & Gas, Power Generation & Distribution, Water Treatment, Asset Management, Data Centre, Sustainability & Emerging Solutions, Telecommunication markets. He has worked extensively across geographies and has a strong global understanding of business growth accelerators.
Mr Menon holds a Bachelor’s’ degree in Chemical Engineering and Master’s in Finance Management. He has also completed programs on Leadership and Strategy from leading international institutions like Columbia Business School, Yale School of Management and Graduate School of Business, Stanford.
Mr. Neeraj Agrawal is Chief Operating Officer – Tata Projects Ltd and remains responsible for various important functions within the organisation such as Project Controls, Procurement, IT and Digitization, Project Management Office, Central Engineering, Corporate Safety and Corporate Quality.
Prior to joining Tata Projects Ltd, Neeraj was the Managing Director of McDermott India. Prior to McDermott, he was in leadership roles at Technip FMC, ABB Lummus, Kinetics Technology International India Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Limited.
Neeraj is Mechanical Engineer from AMU Aligarh and a Master of Technology (Fluid Mechanics) from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
Ms. Rashna Mistry joined Tata Projects as General Counsel wherein she is also a member of the Managing Committee. Based out of Mumbai, she provides leadership and direction to the Contracts & Legal function.
Rashna comes with a rich experience of more than 26 years in the Legal and Contracts function.She has worked extensively in management of litigation, arbitrations, regulatory/government investigations, criminal/ civil actions and cross border matters in various jurisdictions in India and abroad.
Earlier,Rashna was with Essar Capital Advisory India Pvt Ltd, where she was heading the Corporate Global Legal function for various business sectors. Prior to this, she had also worked with Standard Chartered Bank for over 25 years.
She has done her Bachelors of Law and Masters in Finance from Mumbai University.
Ms. Pratixa Davawala is Chief Compliance Officer and Head – Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk and Ethics at Tata Projects Ltd. She is responsible for leading the Internal Audit, Compliance and Enterprise Risk functions with focus on strengthening governance, internal controls, and compliance. She is also the Chief Ethics Officer of the company.
Pratixa comes with a rich experience of more than 20 years in the areas of Internal Controls and Internal Audit, Ethics and Compliance, Risk Management and Corporate Governance across various industries. Her prior stints include being the Business Integrity and Compliance Manager at Castrol India Limited and in various capacities at Star India, Tech Mahindra Business Services and KPMG.
She is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor (USA), Certified Internal Auditor (USA), Certified Bank Forensic Accountant (India) and Certified Registered Co-ordinator for COPC CSP.
Mr. Ganesh Chandan took over the mantle of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) – Tata Projects Ltd in April 2018. With about two and half decades of rich and varied experience, Ganesh Chandan has been instrumental in steering Tata Projects on a robust path towards capably managing, nurturing and augmenting its human resource capabilities.
Prior to joining Tata Projects Ltd, Ganesh Chandan was CHRO at other leading corporates such as Greaves Cotton, Suzlon Group, Avantha ERGO Life Insurance, Avantha Power & Infrastructure and Oracle (BFSI SBU). Ganesh started his career with Titan Industries.
Mr. Chandan holds a post graduate degree from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Tata Projects’ Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, Mr. Himanshu Chaturvedi, joined the firm in 2018. He is in charge of creating the company’s strategic plan, as well as identifying business growth opportunities, technology alliances, and focusing on the Sustainability / Clean Energy business offering. He is also in charge of Marketing Communication and serves as the interim Head of the Services division.
Mr. Chaturvedi has over two decades of expertise in India and overseas, with a strong focus on strategy and finance. He has worked on various M&A transactions, public and private market capital raising, and strategic initiatives for firms and government organisations during his career. He formerly held positions with Tata Capital, ICICI Securities, and SBI Capital Markets.
Mr. Chaturvedi is a graduate engineer and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Mr Himanshu Chaturvedi joined Tata Projects as Chief Strategy Officer in 2018. He is responsible for drawing up company’s strategic plan as well as chart out business growth avenues. He also looks at Marketing & Communication & Business Excellence.
A senior executive with strong strategy and finance orientation, Mr Chaturvedi has experience of over two decades across various sectors in India and abroad. During his career, he has worked on several M&A, public & private market fund raising and strategic initiatives across companies and Government bodies. His earlier stints included Tata Capital, ICICI Securities and SBI Capital Markets.
Mr Chaturvedi is a graduate engineer and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Ms Apeksha Balan leads the Tata Projects – Transformation Office (TO) and has been a part of the Strategy team at Tata Projects since 2019. Prior to joining Tata Projects, Ms Balan has been an investment banker with a focus on M&A, private equity and strategic advisory. Her previous stints include Tata Capital, ICICI Securities and Crisil.
Ms Balan is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) and a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
Mr. Deepak Natarajan is the Chief of Staff – Tata Project Ltd. Deepak joined Tata Projects Limited in January 2020 in the Finance Function. He has played an critical role in establishing and leading Commercial Function & Financial Planning Function of the company and provided leadership to the Treasury function.
Prior to joining Tata Projects, Mr. Natarajan was CFO, India Region – Baker Hughes and was responsible for the Finance function. Mr. Natarajan has 20 years+ experience in Controllership, Corporate Finance, Business Finance, Treasury & Supply Chain Finance having served in organisation like General Electric, Cisco System among others..
Mr. Natarajan is a Chartered Accountant and commerce graduate from Madras University.
