A seasoned power professional, with a career spanning over almost four decades, Dr. Sinha has held several leadership positions across the power sector value chain.
As a CEO & MD of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited, he was instrumental in driving the turnaround of discoms through technological and social interventions and setting a benchmark operational model for other discoms & developing countries to follow.
Under his current leadership, Tata Power is at the forefront of transforming itself from century old power utility company into a new-aged sustainable, technology oriented and customer centric green energy solutions company.
Dr. Sinha has led multiple partnerships with National & International technology partners and institutional associations. He has contributed significantly towards setting up the first international incubator in India for promoting innovations in the clean energy space.
He is the Chairman of CII Western Region council and co-chairs the CII National Committee on Power.
Dr Sinha is a qualified Electrical Engineer and has also done his Master’s in Business Law. He received his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and is a visiting Research Associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston, USA.
Prior to joining Tata Projects, Mr. Pai was the Group President at Worley, based out of Hague, Netherlands. Mr. Pai was responsible for Worley businesses in the EMEA and APAC regions. He was President of the Energy, Chemicals and Resources business at Jacobs before its acquisition by Worley.
He has been part of the Oil and Gas industry for over three decades and has extensive experience in executing upstream and downstream projects and successfully growing the business in a highly competitive environment. He has held key positions in Engineering Design, Technology Licensing, Project Management, Business Development and Operations.

Sanjay Bhandarkar has over three decades of corporate finance, advisory and investment banking experience in the country. He is an independent non-executive director on the boards of three listed companies Tata Power Company Limited, S Chand & Company Limited and HDFC Asset Management Company Limited since late 2016 as and on the board of the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund Limited as a shareholder nominee.
Sanjay is on the Investment Committee of a SEBI registered seed capital fund called Contrarian Vriddhi as an external IC member. The fund has fully invested its corpus. He is also on the Investment Committee of the US$ 170m South Asia Growth Fund II of GEF Capital Partners as an external IC member. He is on the advisory board of 1Crowd, a seed capital stage online investing platform which has also raised a SEBI approved fund for seed stage investing.
Sanjay started his career with ICICI in 1990 and ISec, the joint venture between ICICI and JP Morgan, and then spent two years with Peregrine Capital. He was part of the founding team of Rothschild India in 1998 and played a key role in establishing Rothschild as a well-recognised and respected pure play advisory investment banking firm in India. He led the Rothschild India business from December 2005 to June 2016 when he stepped down from his full-time role.
Sanjay’s focus at Rothschild was on M&A as well as equity capital market advisory for Indian and international companies. He led the teams that worked closely with the Government of India on the 3G and BWA spectrum auctions, the first e-auctions done in India, and on the restructuring of the Enron and GE owned Dabhol power project, one of the largest and most complex restructurings to date. Sanjay did his MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 1990. He lives in Mumbai.
Ms Nishi Vasudeva, an Indian business executive, served as Chairman & Managing Director of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, a Fortune 500 company till March 2016.
She is the first woman in India to head an organization in the Energy sector and among the very few globally to head an Oil company. As CMD of HPCL, she was responsible for developing the vision and long-term objectives, improving growth and profitability, driving a high-performance culture geared towards operational excellence and consistent value creation for stakeholders.
She was Chairman of the Board at several Joint Venture companies of HPCL in partnership with reputed multinationals/ Indian corporates.
Prior to assuming charge as CMD, was on HPCL Board as Director-Marketing and was responsible for pan India sales, brand building, efficient supply chain management, infrastructure development and leading the company’s foray into new business lines.
Her career at HPCL included leadership positions in Marketing, Corporate Strategy, Planning and Information Systems and has led key business transformation and organizational restructuring projects.
She has also been a Member of several Committees for development of policy for the Hydrocarbon sector in India.
Ms Vasudeva is the first Indian to be awarded the Platts “Global CEO of the year” in the Energy sector and has several other awards & recognitions to her credit. She was presented the SCOPE award in the Individual Leadership category by the President of India for Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to Public Sector Management.
Ms. Vasudeva is BA (Economic Honours) from Delhi University and an MBA from IIM Calcutta with over 38 years of experience in the petroleum industry.
An Experienced professional, with a career spanning over 30 Years, Mr. T.R Rangarajan has held several leadership positions in Engineers India Limited.
Under his leadership as Executive Director of Engineers India Limited, was at the forefront for execution of projects in Offshore, On shore terminals and Onshore gas processing, Oil and Gas pipelines, Fertilizers and Petrochemicals.
Mr. T.R Rangarajan has also led as Dy. Manager (Projects) in MGCC Nagothane of IPCL and was instrumental in Project management followed by startup commissioning and operation as shift in charge for the Polypropylene Unit of MGCC Complex of IPCL at Nagothane.
Post retirement from Engineers India Limited Mr. T.R Rangarajan have been providing consultancy services on project management and technical matters in the field of polymers.
Mr. T.R Rangarajan is a qualified Chemical Engineer and has done his Bachelor’s of Engineering at Annamalai University
Mr. Ritesh Mandot is the Partner at Tata Opportunities Fund (Tata Capital), a USD 600mn growth stage private equity fund. He has previously worked with the private equity arm of Reliance Industries (GenNext Ventures), Milestone Religare (Healthcare and Education focused fund) and MAPE Advisory (a leading boutique investment bank). He has extensive work experience spanning Private Equity and Investment Banking with a cumulative transaction record of more than US$ 750 million spread over more than a decade. He brings with him wide ranging experience across M&A, Capital raising, Strategy & Investments. He has extensive experience across the lifecycle of alternative investment assets.
At Tata Capital, he has been involved in investments across Tata Sky, Shriram Properties, Tata Projects and Uber Technologies and also serves as member / observer on the boards of Tata Sky, Tata Projects and Shriram Properties.
Ritesh holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
