  • Artson Engineering Limited, Mumbai: Tata Projects acquired a majority stake in Artson Engineering Limited (AEL), Mumbai to strengthen its EPC business in the Oil, Gas & Hydrocarbon sector. AEL is a leading design and EPC company in Petroleum Storage and Handling Systems with expertise in hydrocarbon processing. Over the years, AEL has done pioneering work in developing products and systems for fuel handling and tank construction activities in refineries.


    Tata Projects Limited - TQA Quality Services (Pty) Limited : Tata Projects has formed joint ventures with TQA Consultants Africa (Pty) Ltd in South Africa and in Mauritius to provide Third Party Inspection Services for Eskom, SA. The JV is providing Offshore and Onshore inspection services for two Super Critical Thermal Projects of 6 X 800 MW capacity being constructed at Medupi and Kusile in South Africa. In addition the JV is also providing inspection services for 4 X 333 MW Pumped Storage Scheme at Ingula and 765 KV Transmission Line Projects in South Africa.


    TEIL PROJECTS LIMITED : TEIL PROJECTS LIMITED is a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Projects and Engineers India Ltd (EIL). This company true to its heritage combines the competencies of both companies- Engineering design skills from EIL and EPC project execution skills from TPL. TEIL is recognized for its ability in the development of captive power plants up to 60 MW (e.g.: Metal, Cement, Paper & Cogen plants) as well as special category high value EPC projects in OGH (Grassroot refineries, Petrochemical process units, Bottom Upgradation process, HS crude processing facilities, Aluminium refinery projects etc.)
