India’s first-ever maritime heritage museum at Lothal, one of the key sites of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, situated in Gujarat intends to safeguard and exhibit India’s rich maritime history and heritage. The marquee project spread across 400 acres of land will display the history, glory, and achievements of India’s maritime heritage, from ancient times to the present day. This project will include establishment of a National Maritime Museum, Maritime Research Institute, Maritime Heritage based Theme Park, Nature Conservation Park, Lighthouse Museum, resorts, hotels, and more. The NMHC is designed to bring together ancient artefacts from various eras related to India’s maritime history and make them accessible for public viewing and learning. Tata Projects is building this prestigious endeavour, on an Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) basis and ensuring precision in every step, promising a world-class heritage complex that highlights the nation’s maritime heritage in all its splendour.
